In an open meeting on March 16, 2023 the Village Council voted unanimously to sign onto a resolution prepared by the Town of Chevy Chase condemning Antisemitic acts. Subsequently, the Village Council appointed 5 resident-volunteers to a temporary, 12-month Antisemitism Awareness and Education Task Force, charged with implementing an awareness and education campaign in accordance with the resolution: Developing an “Antisemitism Awareness” Public Education Program: An Initiative of Montgomery County Municipalities.’ Antisemitism Awareness and Education Task Force scope
